One of our favourite new horse rug fabrics!  The Apollo features Delzani's newly developed Sky-mesh - a fine and durable 180gsm mesh. 

We like to describe it as a marriage of the best attributes of both a fly mesh rug (strength, sun & insect protection) and a cool cotton flag (cool, tight weave), combined into one horse rug (high airflow, tight weave and gentle on the coat).

We have also incorporated the Zebra mesh colours into this style, which are known to further disorientate and repel insects. 

We don't skimp on the important stuff... our 'Apollo' AirMesh Horse Rugs feature a generous shoulder and gusset drop, especially in the bigger sizes (where other brands fail), and lots of other functional design features as outlined below to provide truly unbeatable value.

•  UV stabilized rating of 91% plus protection
•  Contoured centre back line w/rump darts, for custom fit

•  Adjustable/removable webbed leg straps

•  Internal lining in shoulders & mane to reduce rubbing
•  Night reflectors attached to the rug for night safety
•  Large tent tail flaps
•  Quality buckles and clips

•  Bartac reinforcing on all fittings

Delzani  Hoods Feature:

• An adjustable, fast-release poll strap for added security
• We allow longer lengths in our attached hoods to ensure your horse can graze easily

^ Note, Enclosed Ears can be permanently removed without damaging the integrity of the ear holes.

The Apollo is the lightest (180GSM) of the three weights of fly mesh we offer across our range. ^ 6'0 and 6’3 rugs are available with either a Cob or Full-size hood attached. Tip: the majority of Horses in a 6’0 Rug will take a COB-size hood and Horses in a 6’3 Rug will need a full-size hood.   Please note the suggested hood size to rug size above is a guide only.
