Equest Plus Tapewormer is a broad-spectrum worming gel for horses and ponies. The wormer controls against tapeworms and all important gastrointestinal susceptible strains of roundworms, including adult and encysted stages and benzimidazole-resistant strains of small strongyles.

The unique long-lasting Equest Plus Tape horse wormer and boticide gel: is particularly useful in reducing the required dosing frequency in strategic parasite control programs. An Egg Reappearance Period (ERP) for Equest® Plus Tape is at least 14 weeks, which means that recontamination of the pasture by strongyle eggs is significantly reduced during this period.

Simple ready-to-use Syringe that is administered orally (into the mouth).

Equest Plus Tape Long Lasting Horse Wormer and Boticide Gel:

• Contains moxidectin and praziquantel, to treat a horse of up to 575 kg

Directions for Use: Do not administer the full syringe to horses under 400kg. Use with caution in foals and smaller breeds by carefully calibrating the dose and avoiding overdosing.

Guidelines for Administration

Equest Plus Tape long-lasting horse wormer and boticide gel is administered orally (into the mouth) at a dose rate of 0.4mg/kg moxidectin and 2.5mg /kg praziquantel.

Guidelines for Use

Simply squeeze the puffer bottle onto the desired region for application. Apply again every day or as needed. Avoid the area around the eyes.

1. Prepare the syringe: hold the syringe with the capped end pointing to the left to see the weight measurements and hte tick marks (small black lines); turn the ring until the left side of the ring lines up with the weight of the animal; remove the barrel cap and szve it for later use if required; more than one syringe is needed to treat horses weighing more than 575kg.

2. Administer the does: ensure the animal's mouth is empty; with your thumb on the plunger, insert the nozzle of the syringe into the horse's mouth at the space between front and rear teeth, and make sure the tip of the syringe is over the back of the tongue; deliver the dose of gel onto the back of the tongue by gently pushing the plunger until it stops; raise the horse's head once dosing is completed to ensure the gel is swallowed.

3. Surplus gel: if gel remains in the syringe once the full dose has been delivered, replace the barrel cap; store remaining gel below 30 degrees celsius (room temperature) for later use, but do not use after the expiry date shown on the label.
