Dosage & How to Use

Given orally at 1mL per 100kg bodyweight, delivering 0.2mg/kg ivermectin and 1.5mg/kg praziquantel. The contents of one syringe (7.49g) treat one horse of 700kg bodyweight. Each weight marking on the plunger delivers 1.07g of paste - sufficient to treat 100kg bodyweight.

Step 1: Set the plunger to the dose for your horse's bodyweight.
Step 2: Insert the syringe into the side of the mouth, in the gap between the front and back teeth.
Step 3: Advance the syringe as far as it will go and depress the plunger, depositing the paste on the back of the tongue.
Step 4: Immediately raise the horse's head for a few seconds to make sure the full dose is swallowed.

Pro Tip: Because reinfection is common, repeat treatment routinely for effective control.

Suggested Parasite Control Program

All horses should be included in a regular parasite control program, with particular attention to mares, foals and yearlings. Foals should first be treated at 6 to 8 weeks of age, with routine treatment repeated as appropriate.

Highly effective against tapeworms and gastrointestinal, cutaneous and pulmonary nematodes and bots in horses of all ages. Regular treatment reduces the chance of verminous arteritis and colic caused by S. vulgaris. Consult your veterinarian for a control program to suit your specific needs.

Safety

CAUTION: Keep out of reach of children. Read safety directions. For animal treatment only.

I had not tried this brand before, but with the cost of wormers these days and lots of horses ... time to change. Had no issues giving it to my 5 horses.
